- Secure and up to date
- Complete management and support
Why good workstation management is essential for your organization.
A good workday starts with a workstation that simply works. Employees want to log in, use their programs, and securely access their files without any problems – and without constantly having to deal with IT.
Yet workstations require ongoing attention. Updates, security, new employees, outages, and technical questions can take up a lot of time and cause frustration when they aren’t handled properly.
With our IT Workstation Management service, we take care of the day-to-day management of your workstations. We keep them secure, up to date, and well managed, and we’re ready to help whenever employees need support. This way, your team can focus on what they’re there for: getting their work done.

Frequently asked questions.
What exactly is included in an outsourced workstation?
- This usually includes supplying and configuring hardware (laptops, monitors), installing software (such as Microsoft 365), license management, security, and the help desk (support) for employees.
Do we keep ownership of the hardware or do we lease it?
- Both options are possible. You can have your existing equipment managed, but many organizations now choose Device-as-a-Service (DaaS). With DaaS, you lease the hardware, including management and support, for a fixed monthly fee.
How quickly are employees’ problems resolved (SLA)?
- In the Service Level Agreement (SLA), you agree on response and resolution times. Urgent problems (such as a laptop that keeps crashing) get higher priority and are often resolved within a few hours or immediately by phone.
How does the help desk work for employees in practice?
- When problems arise, employees can contact the IT partner’s service desk directly by phone, email, or a chat portal. The IT partner can then take over the laptop remotely to solve the problem.
How does an external partner ensure the security of mobile and remote workstations?
The partner uses Mobile Device Management (MDM) software (such as Microsoft Intune). This allows devices to be updated, secured, and – in the event of theft or loss – completely wiped remotely.
What happens if an employee’s laptop breaks down?
- The IT partner often provides a replacement guarantee (swapping). A defective laptop is then quickly replaced (sometimes as soon as the next business day) with an identical one, at the office or at the employee’s home. How are the costs of outsourced workstation management calculated? - Almost always through a transparent model of a fixed monthly fee per workstation (or per user). This makes IT costs directly scalable: as your company grows, costs increase proportionally; if it shrinks, they go down.
